Job Summary
The Field Installer Repairer plays a vital role in delivering end-to-end installation of Telstra's telecommunications networks. This position involves providing installation and maintenance services to ensure optimal network performance.
About the role
As a Field Service Technician, you will work independently to activate and ensure the quality of telecommunications and technology products and services at customer premises, in both residential and business settings. You will collaborate within a diverse team to achieve excellent customer and commercial outcomes. Multiple positions are available across various locations; candidates should reside in or be willing to relocate to the targeted areas.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver seamless service rectification and product installations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Maintain and install copper cables, including fault finding, jointing, and jumpering.
* Manage fibre and core network technology and data services.
* Maintain and install Customer Premises Equipment for both consumer and business clients.
* Perform fault finding on copper networks, including in rural or remote areas.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold and maintain relevant licenses and qualifications, including:
* Certificate I & II in Telecommunications
* Open cabling license
* Traffic management qualifications
* White card (industry recognized)
Training support for traffic management and white card certifications is provided. Vaccination against Covid-19 is required unless otherwise discussed.
