Part-Time Commercial Cleaning Technician / All-Rounder

Primarily 7:00am – 3:00pm (Some Evening & Weekend Work Required)
Cairns Cleaning Contractors is a long-standing, locally owned commercial cleaning company experiencing continued growth. We are currently seeking a reliable, hands-on all-rounder who enjoys variety in their work. This role is part-time, with the opportunity to progress to full-time for the right candidate based on performance, reliability, and capability.
About the Role
This is a dynamic, multi-skilled position suited to someone who thrives in different environments and takes pride in delivering high-quality results. While most work is scheduled between 7:00am and 3:00pm, some projects require evening or weekend work (paid at higher award rates).
You may also be required to travel for assignments outside of Cairns for up to one week at a time.
Key Duties Include:
* Builders cleans (post-construction cleaning)
* Floor strip and sealing
* Carpet cleaning
* Commercial exit cleans
* Window cleaning
* Air conditioning cleaning
* General commercial cleaning services
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
* Experience in specialist services (strip & seal, carpet cleaning, builders cleans) highly regarded
* Physically capable of lifting and operating heavy equipment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
* Flexible, solution-focused attitude
* Personable and able to work independently and within a team
* Current Police Check and Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
* Required vaccinations for certain sites
* Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
