 
        
        The Mail & Archives Coordinator is responsible for is responsible for assisting in the effective operation of the Company's day-to-day mail and archiving operations to support streamlined and effective service. This role is responsible for ensuring all mail and all semi current and non-current corporate records are managed in accordance with industry standards to achieve efficiency and maintain integrity of archive management. The position will lead the management of records management archiving projects and provide operational support for records management Company wide. The position is required to work in collaboration with the Company Archivist to establish and maintain procedures and workflows relating to the destruction of records and the transfer of permanent archives into the custody of the Company Archive. 
Role Specific 
Oversee the efficient mail handling, registration, and management in accordance with organisational policies and procedures. 
Oversee the maintenance and entry of data to the Company's records management system. 
Manage archives and execute archival processes including appraisal and sentencing, research and analysis, arrangement and description, custody and access, conservation and storage and planning. 
Develop organisational wide archival management procedures, tools and monitor and update archival standards, and procedures including providing support and training. 
Document all of Company's physical and electronic records holdings, including the contextual linkages between them and the functional and operational contexts for their creation, receipt, storage and management, including by the development and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive aids for their retrieval. 
Manage large physical sentencing and storage projects in accordance with quality, cost and timeliness requirements.Identify and provide advice on preservation issues and format specific risks for records and archives and liaise with preservation specialists (including digital preservation specialists) and Company Archivist 
Identify opportunities for developing online channels of archival discovery and respond to the changing digital environment.
