Job Description:
The role of an Enrolled Nurse in a mental health inpatient unit is to provide person-centered care to patients. This involves working under the direction of a Registered Nurse and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve quality care.
About the Position:
This position offers various employment types, including permanent full-time, part-time, and casual roles. The successful candidate will be based in Goulburn and will work 38 hours per week. The remuneration package includes salary packaging benefits and corporate health and fitness programs.
Key Responsibilities:
The Enrolled Nurse will work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide care that respects the rights of individuals. Key responsibilities include conducting nursing practice in a manner that respects patient autonomy and dignity, communicating effectively with patients and colleagues, and participating in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.
Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate will hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse. They will also demonstrate effective clinical communication skills, the ability to work within a person-centered approach to nursing, and a willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
