**Job Title:** Senior Manager, Home Lending
About the Role
This is a highly regarded position that requires strategic thinking and exceptional leadership skills. As a member of the Leadership Team, you will lead the delivery of the product strategy, providing key advice to the Chief of Product and Marketing Officer on significant matters affecting the delivery of products and services.
The role encompasses end-to-end product ownership, focusing on development, maintenance, and internal monitoring activities. You will be responsible for leading and managing product governance requirements in line with the product governance framework, driving the execution of the product lifecycle processes for all products.
This includes competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and delivery stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of new products. Additionally, you will provide regular briefing, updates, and recommendations to key committees and executives as they relate to emerging industry, competitor, and member issues in respect of product market, competitive landscape, performance, and member impacts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the strategic design and delivery of the bank's product strategy
* Maintain, design, and build market-leading products that deliver member-centric features, benefits, and experiences
* Identify market needs and requirements that meet Police Bank's strategic and business objectives
* Manage the integration of new product development into existing product management processes
* Create member-centric propositions and experiences to differentiate Police Bank in the market
* Define the pricing strategy, considering all key internal and external drivers
* Analyse margin, volume, market share, and profitability, setting targets while ensuring the sustainability of the member journey and product by meeting agreed financial targets
* Develop and enhance products in a profitable and appropriate way to achieve business goals
* Manage and resolve incidents, events, and issues, determining improvements required for the product or service
* Lead the team to develop and implement short and long-term product strategies, grow existing products, and develop new products aligned with the Group's strategy
