Position Title: Senior Complex and Palliative Care Occupational Therapist Classification: VG3 Salary per hour: $52.70 per hour superannuation generous salary packaging options Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 64 hours per fortnight Award: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise agreement 2021-2026 Role description An exciting opportunity to join the newly expanded Community Palliative Care program at Dhelkaya Health which provides OT palliative care assessments, home based outreach care and informs holistic care plans. In this Senior Clinician role, you will provide evidence based occupational therapy assessment, clinical treatment and care coordination for clients in the Complex Care Program and Palliative Care Program. You'll be responsible for delivering high quality person centred occupational therapy interventions within Dhelkaya Health. This will involve home, hospital or centred based service delivery. You'll also will work closely with the OT Professional Lead to support supervision and learning of OTs in the areas of Complex Care and Palliative Care building capability and capacity. About you * Minimum of 7 years' experience working in a relevant clinical area with evidence of advanced clinical skills or potential to develop in Complex Care and Palliative Care clinical areas * Advanced understanding of person-centred Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment care pathways for those with complex needs including working with the older person and community palliative care specialist area. * Demonstrated ability to effectively lead in a clinical practice area and maintain working relationships in a professional workplace and in clinical settings. * The ability to establish positive relationships with clients and colleagues within a complex care environment and multiple stakeholders * Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary team * Experience in providing supervision * Excellent and well developed organisational and time management skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Commitment to delivery of person-centred care pathways within evidence informed framework * Commitment to evidence-based practice Culture and Benefits Dhelkaya Health is located on Dja Dja Wurrung country in regional Victoria.
