This exciting new position within Bowens offers a unique chance to take on a hands-on hybrid opportunity. The Yard Assistant will undertake a combination of yard, customer service and driving responsibilities.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
* Pick and pack customer orders from picking slips to ensure that they are prepared accurately and ready for the agreed delivery time
* Serving customers and ensuring they receive an outstanding customer experience
* Maintain the transport pick and despatch system
* Delivering timber and hardware products to customers
* Cleaning of the yard and ensuring it is neat and tidy at all times
* Working to the standards set in the Bowens Blueprint
We are looking for an individual who possess the below skills:
* A valid drivers licence
* A forklift licence is advantageous
* Appreciation of OH&S and a capability to undertake physical tasks safely
* Strong communication skills
* Passionate about customer service
* Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
* Ability to work independently as well as contribute as a team member
