There is now an opportunity to join the team as a Channel Marketing Specialist, on a permanent full time capacity.
**About the Role**
Reporting into the Channel Marketing Manager, the Channel Marketing Specialist will lead and execute the trade marketing strategic plans, drive below-the-line and in-store activity and provide ongoing support to the sales team.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Lead and execute all trade marketing and sales support for B2B and B2C channels; promotions, store activations, NPD launches, incentive programs, sales support
- Work as the conduit between the marketing, sales team
- Drive marketing campaigns from concept to execution
- Confidently support, education and collaborate with sales team to achieve objectives (account managers and field managers)
- Work closely with the Head of Sales to build out the trade marketing strategy for the Painters category
- Budget management and reporting
- Plan and drive in store activations, trade events and expos
- Support sales team for all NPD launches - education, incentive programs, launch events, promotions, in store activity
- Drive BTL campaigns for the Painters category - B2B communications, event management, promotions, collateral
**SKILLS & EXPERTISE**:
- 3+ years shopper/campaign/brand marketing experience
- Experience in trade marketing and sales support ideal
- Experience building and executing a marketing strategy plan
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Exceptional communications skills to present, influence and challenge
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multi task
- A self starter showing initiative in their work
- Strong project management skills
