TalentWeb is recruiting for a Structural Engineer to join a structural engineering consultancy's Varsity Lakes office on the Gold Coast. This consultancy has a seriously low staff turnover and prefer to bring on aspiring structural engineers and foster their development internally.
In this role your key responsibilities will include:
- Utilising engineering principles and software tools to design and analyse structural steel and concrete frames;
- Performing site inspections;
- Managing projects from concept to construction, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets and quality;
- Liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities;
- Preparing engineering reports, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
We seek candidates with the following attributes:
- Post-graduate degree in engineering;
- 3-7 years' experience in multi-storey structural engineering design, including post-tensioned, steel and concrete commercial structures, ideally in QLD;
- Experience with: RAPT/RAM Concept, ETABS, Microstran, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office;
You'll report directly into the Gold Coast office lead, an RPEQ and CPEng Principal Structural Engineer. The consultancy is known for their work on large retail precincts and has an ongoing project pipeline long into the next year.
