About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of women, babies, and families in community? This organisation is looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse (with immunisation endorsement) to provide high-quality, culturally appropriate care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
Role Responsibilities
Delivering comprehensive primary healthcare and midwifery services
Coordinating child and maternal health programs
Working in a culturally respectful and community-led environment
Some travel within our service area may be required
What You'll Bring
Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with current AHPRA registration and immunisation endorsement
Bachelor of Nursing or Midwifery (preferred)
Understanding of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and the social, cultural, and economic determinants of health
A compassionate and culturally aware approach to maternal and child health
Open C Class Driver's Licence
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
