 
        
        Our State Government client, within the education sector, is currently looking for an experienced Senior Advisor – Workforce Development, to join their team for a two-month contract based in South Brisbane. As the Senior Advisor, you will provide advice to senior managers on employee relations issues and support the achievement of the organisations strategic objectives by coordinating and delivering projects for the People and Culture team.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
 * Provide timely support and advice in relation to the management of employee relations issues, human resource administration, employee complaints, ethical behaviour, performance management, investigations, mediations and related processes.
 * Prepare correspondence, including briefing materials and reports, for the General Manager and other senior staff on issues related to workforce relations.
 * Establish networks and liaise with clients, officers from other agencies, unions and other external bodies to promote and monitor contemporary human resource management issues.
 * Undertake ongoing research and analysis of contemporary human resource practices and policies occurring at a whole of government level, with a specific focus on employee relations.
 * Coordinate the planning, development and implementation of human resources projects that support regional initiatives and objectives.
 * Liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders in relation to the services provided by the People and Culture team.
 * Prepare recommendations, strategies and performance indicators to facilitate the implementation of project outcomes.
