This role plays a key part in the construction and maintenance of public infrastructure such as roads, drains, paths, reserves, and cemeteries.Key Responsibilities:Complete civil works projects to safety, quality, time, and budget specificationsOperate machinery, multi-function plant, and small equipment safelyConduct pre-start checks and ensure vehicles and plant are well-maintainedPerform manual labour and use hand tools effectivelyParticipate in cemetery burials in accordance with Local Laws and Shire policiesAccurately complete documentation, including forms, records, and reportsRespond to after-hours callouts (by mutual agreement), supporting the Shires service deliveryMaintain tidy and safe worksites with regular housekeeping dutiesIdentify and report any quality concerns immediatelyMaintain quality control of all tasks and deliver work to high standardsCommunicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and contractors in line with the Shires Code of ConductSkills & Qualifications:Mandatory:White CardHR LicenceLabouring ExperiencePreferred:Chainsaw OperationsTraffic Controller AccreditationPrevious Experience in Local Government Civil WorksFirst Aid CertificationNational Police Clearance (NPC)About WorkPac WorkPac is Australia's largest privately owned workforce solutions business.
