The Investment Research & Strategy (IR&S) team is responsible for Investment Risk, Investment Strategy and management of TCorp's risk-based Investment Model. Reporting to the Head of Investment Strategy, as Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in:
* Investment strategy and asset sector research - supporting the design of investment strategy, portfolio themes and sector exposures.
* Capital Market Assumptions (CMAs) - supporting construction and maintenance of TCorp's CMAs consistent with our Total Portfolio Approach (TPA).
* Contribution to competition for capital - work collaboratively to support deep and ongoing competition that is the core of our TPA.
Capabilities for success in this role comprise a combination of substantive and analytical skills as well as people and cultural skills. Operating within TCorp's Investments division requires team members to have our TPA at the forefront of all they do and as such must demonstrate capabilities in cultural engagement, relationship management, persuasive communication and risk management.
Candidates will be prioritised based on their ability to meet the requirements of:
* Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, statistics, economics or econometrics.
* 3–5 years experience in investment management (ideally within asset owners, managers, or investment / asset consultants).
* Experience in constructing CMAs over long-term and short-term horizons.
* Experience in developing investment strategy design.
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills applied to multi-asset portfolios.
* Strong internal and external stakeholder management.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
