Clinical Costing and Performance Analyst
About the Role
Join us in an exciting opportunity to lead the clinical costing and performance analysis at a healthcare organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality reporting, modelling, and performance analysis on organisational clinical costing and casemix allocations. They will also lead and manage the Victorian Cost Data Collection submission for the organisation.
The role involves leveraging existing infrastructure and processes, enhancing business process automation, and maximising the functionality of Power Health Solutions PPM software. Key responsibilities include:
 * Engaging with clinical and corporate stakeholders
 * Meticulous data validation and reconciliation
 * Enhancing business process improvement
 * Providing analysis and guidance on clinical casemix data findings
 * Delivering advanced costing reports and insights for strategic decision-making
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in complex health-related analysis and benchmarking, data management (including automation, integration, interrogation, and validation), financial performance modelling, reporting, and casemix analysis. Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, a commitment to best practice, and the ability to work collaboratively with a professional team are essential for success in this role.
Key Requirements
 * Relevant health information experience in data analysis and reporting in a medium to large organisation
 * Tertiary qualifications in information technology, health information management, or financial management and analysis
 * Knowledge of hospital corporate systems, patient management systems, and Victorian Department of Health datasets
 * Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
 * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
