Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with a strong DevOps background to design, develop, and optimise modern applications in a high‐performance delivery environment. In this role, you will bridge development and operations, drive automation, improve delivery pipelines and ensure scalable, resilient solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross‐functional teams to deliver high‐quality software and continuously improve engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain high‐quality software applications
* Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate delivery processes
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
* Monitor and optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability
* Apply DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment workflows
* Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
* Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues
* Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and practices
* Maintain technical documentation including code, pipelines, and system designs
* Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
What You'll Need
* Strong experience in software development with DevOps practices
* Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
* Hands‐on experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Terraform)
* Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
* Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Sumo Logic)
* Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
* Knowledge of configuration management tools
* Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to work in a fast‐paced environment
* Proven experience mentoring and supporting junior team members
