About the role
Raywell Contracting is seeking an experienced All Round Operators to join our team based 15 minutes from Busselton, Western Australia. This full-time role will involve operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment on our operations, playing a crucial part in our ongoing operations.
What you'll be doing
1. Safely operating a range of heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, haul trucks, and graders
2. Performing pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery
3. Following all safety protocols and environmental regulations to ensure a safe and sustainable workplace
4. Providing support to other members of the operations team as required
5. Reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner
What we're looking for
1. Extensive experience (2+ years) operating a variety of heavy equipment in a mining or construction environment:
2. Proven production experience operating excavators and dozers
3. Competent with loaders, graders and articulated trucks
4. Flexible to occasionally operate articulated trucks
5. Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
6. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
7. Reliable, adaptable, and able to work well as part of a team
8. Current driver's licence and relevant machinery operating licenses/tickets
