**What's the role?**
Are you an experienced Executive Manager ready to make a significant impact? Join Westpac as the driving force behind risk management and monitoring for our Customer Assist team.
Your mission will be to lead a team of risk professionals to embed robust risk management frameworks, policies, and controls across the Customer Assist business (Collections), fostering a strong risk culture that harmonises commercial and customer needs.
This full-time, permanent position is based in either Adelaide or Sydney.
You'll collaborate closely with the Assist leadership team on all risk and control matters, developing pragmatic solutions and leading a team of dedicated risk professionals to achieve our business objectives.
**What do I need?**
- You'll lead a team of 10-15 risk professionals with confidence and clarity, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Develop and implement pragmatic solutions to complex risk and control issues, ensuring effective end-to-end implementation.
- Enable a solid incident management lifecycle, assisting in incident rectification and remediation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, working closely to identify and enable more efficient and effective risk practices.
- Provide in-depth insights and support for regulatory requests and remediation, ensuring compliance and robust risk management.
- Innovate and adapt in a dynamic environment, balancing commercial acumen with a robust focus on customer needs and risk culture development.
