* This role can be based out of either Shepparton (Yorta Yorta Country) or Seymour (Taungurung Country) locations. * Full time, permanent position (with flexibility for Part Time 0.8). * Base salary $88k pa + Super and Salary Packaging. The Opportunity This position is responsible for providing statutory case management services for children and young people residing in kinship care. The role aims to assist kinship carers in providing the best possible care arrangements for children and young people, ensuring their ongoing safety and developmental well-being. The Case Manager - Kinship Care will have a demonstrated ability to effectively engage with children, young people, and their kinship families, and demonstrate understanding of issues impacting kinship care placements. Key Responsibilities To provide case management services to children and young people in statutory Kinship Care placements. Manage multiple caseloads of children and young people living in Kinship Care arrangements. To enhance and build on available formal and informal family and community supports for children and young people in kinship arrangements. To assist families in providing the best possible care arrangements for children and young people unable to live with their birth parents. About You You will have demonstrated ability to effectively engage with children, young people, and their kinship families, understanding inter-generational factors and complex relationships affecting placements. Experience working with children, young people, and families through an attachment and trauma-based lens is essential. This role requires an appropriate tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline.
