Job Title: Rural Products Sales Leader
We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our rural products sales team, driving growth and exceeding sales targets in a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will have expertise across seeds, fertilizers, crop protection, stock feeds, supplements, and farming products, with a proven track record of building strong relationships with clients in-store, over the phone, and during order deliveries.
A key responsibility will be managing sales and inventory performance, including aged inventory, stock turns, and debtor arrangements, as well as overseeing staffing requirements, such as recruitment, rostering, training, and performance management.
The successful candidate will also nurture and grow the sales team to achieve targets, upskill capabilities, and provide value-add training with suppliers, while delivering exceptional customer service and advice on rural products, introducing new product lines as needed.
In addition, they will assist in developing and implementing retail strategy, including key sales campaigns and activities, to drive business growth and profitability.
* Sales Performance: Manage and optimize sales performance, achieving targets and maximizing revenue opportunities.
* Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock turns, minimizing aged inventory, and optimizing debtor arrangements.
* Staffing and Development: Lead the sales team, recruiting, training, and developing staff to meet business needs, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, offering expert advice on rural products, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
