Our employees are recognized for their achievements and offered promotional opportunities on a meritocracy basis within a collegiate and values-driven team environment and culture.The Society recognises the value of an inclusive work environment and believes that our diversity is a strength in the work we do with our local communities.Your RoleAs the CDS Supervisor, you will lead a customer-focused team and supervise CDS warehouse activities in accordance with company standards, supporting a safe and harmonious workplace, and fostering relationships with commercial and service partners.Your ResponsibilitiesAssign, plan, and delegate workflow activities of the warehouse to ensure efficient and accurate processing of container deposits with minimal damage from handlingProvide a safe environment for workers and visitors, ensuring that WHS procedures are understood and practiced alwaysMonitor and coordinate bulk bin collections and safe truck movements on site by service partnersCoordinate repairs, cleaning, and maintenance of warehouse equipmentSchedule and oversee the disposal of rejected containers or other waste items as appropriateDemonstrate team leadership via regular communication and attention to quality assurance and consistently high standards of performanceEnsure team members' productivity and motivation are optimized through monitoring work performance and providing advice and assistance as requiredRequirements3 - 5 years experience as Warehouse Supervisor and team leaderExperience in negotiation, conflict management, and facilitating resolutionExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and plan to tight deadlinesDemonstrated understanding of WHS and safety proceduresProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse Point of Sale (POS) systemsWillingness to uphold the ethos and mission of the SocietyApply NowIf this sounds like you, don’t wait—apply now.
