Perry's is looking for a superstar Barista to join our team full time
As summer approaches, Perry's is looking for an experienced barista to join and support our team at a vibrant cafe in Keilor East, VIC.
We are looking for someone with positive vibes, who is ready to come on board immediately as we ramp up for the busy season.
The right fit will be someone who has attention to detail and pride in their work, with previous experience working in a fast paced environment.
Our barista staff not only make consistently good coffee, we also serve a range of cold beverages including smoothies, milkshakes and alcohol, so multitasking ability whilst maintaining speed and consistency during a rush is a must.
It's a plus if you have existing bar knowledge, but we are also more than happy to train someone who is willing to learn and grow their skills.
You will also be expected to work solo behind the bar during our quieter times.
This includes balancing order taking alongside existing orders, while ensuring exceptional service is provided to all customers - whether they be new to Perry's, or one of our beloved regulars
This is a full time role, so please only apply if you have availability to work these hours.
We can be flexible on weekdays, but you must have weekend availability.
Requirements for this role:
2-3 years relevant experience
Strong customer service skills
Consistently prepare and serve espresso based beverages
Able to dial in, monitor shot run time and adjust grind accordingly
Prepare and serve cold beverages including smoothies, milkshakes & cocktails
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and other staff members
POS / cash handling
Perform opening / closing duties when required
Maintain a clean and tidy workspace following food safety and hygiene protocols
RSA required (or willing to obtain within 1 month of start date)
Existing cocktail/bar knowledge advantageous
Looking for candidates who are available to work:
Saturday / Sunday - REQUIRED
Weekdays
Occasional evenings
