Washed For Cars is a high-volume, professional car wash business operating modern tunnel wash sites at Moorooka and Hope Island. Now in our tenth year of operation, we've invested millions of dollars in industry-leading equipment and infrastructure, with the capacity to wash over 400 vehicles per day across our sites.
Role Summary
As Site Manager, you will be fully responsible for the daily car wash operations to maximise the operational and financial performance of the facility.
The role is supported by the General Manager and an assigned Team Leader.
Role Objectives
* Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Car Wash
* Management of all site staff
* Manage workplace health & safety and security issues
* Client relations, including responding to customer complaints
* Management of chemicals and other inventory and place orders with enough lead time to ensure that stock levels are managed
* Quality control & strict time management
* General cleaning and maintenance of all equipment and facilities
* Manage and motivate a team to maximise sales and cost efficiency whilst continuing with excellent Customer Service
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Service:
Providing high quality customer service and community engagement and shall encourage and manage other staff to deliver the same high levels of service
* Site Maintenance:
Ensuring the site is clean and tidy and well-functioning, including high levels of presentation, cleanliness of bays and equipment
* Responsible for the periodic maintenance of all equipment, on-site trouble shooting of any malfunctions, and where required the engagement and management of specialist contractors to resolve any faults.
* Co-ordination of, and assistance with quarterly pit clean. This is done with the support of the Team Leader/s
* Driving Performance:
Develop a detailed understanding of customers and help drive sales performance through repeat business and reduced cancellation rate.
* Identify any issues and opportunities and address or action these appropriately to ensure optimal customer service and finance outcomes
* Employee Management:
Confidently lead and manage a small team including roster preparation, regular training and staff engagement.
