As a leader in residential aged care, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents. The Team Leader is responsible for supervising and coordinating care to meet the individual needs, wishes and goals of each resident within a supportive and dignified environment.
About the Role
The Team Leader will support the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to lead and coordinate care across the home. This includes medication management, nutrition and hydration, pressure care management, and social and emotional support to all residents. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing holistic and person-centered care to residents;
* Leading/supervising care on the shift, within their designated wing or area;
* Performing medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation and policies;
We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse who has a Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with AHPRA Registration to administer medication). You will need a high level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness, as well as effective listening and communication skills. Ability to understand and use information technology and programs is also essential.
