We are looking for a Service Manager to join our Wangaratta team who thrives on leading teams and processes, driving service excellence, and delivering high-quality electrical service work across diverse sectors.

Job Summary:

As the Service Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of service electricians and support staff across a wide range of electrical service projects — including domestic settings, hospitals, aged care, education, retail, and government buildings. From installation to commissioning, safety compliance to customer service, this is a hands-on leadership role that keeps you connected to both the people and the technical delivery.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and coordinate service delivery across a range of domestic and commercial projects
* Manage and schedule service electricians and support staff to ensure timely, efficient job completion
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high quality service and repeat business
* Oversee documentation, quoting, invoicing, and reporting to the Operations Manager, ensuring accuracy and transparency
* Monitor follow-up services and job completions to maintain continuity and client satisfaction
* Ensure WHS compliance and promote a strong safety culture across all worksites
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and adopting new technologies
* Support team development through performance reviews, training, and mentoring initiatives

Requirements:

* Current Driver's License and A-Grade Electrical License are essential
* Experience in service management in the electrical industry is desirable
* Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
* Proven technical knowledge in lighting, power, switchboards, and commissioning
* Experience with data installation and vendor/contract management considered desirable
* Computer proficiency (MS Office incl. Outlook, Excel, Project)
* Excellent problem-solving, planning, and reporting skills
* Strong safety mindset with knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance
