Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of human resources services.
Responsibilities Include:
* Instructing department staff in the absence of the HR Manager.
* Implementing grievance and disciplinary procedures.
* Providing employment-related guidance to staff.
* Developing and delivering training programs for the HR team.
* Ensuring compliance with legal requirements regarding discrimination, harassment, and minimum conditions.
* Managing apprentices and trainees through close contact with their managers and external organizations.
* Oversight of performance management, training, and development systems.
* Coordinating Resort Orientation program for new staff.
* Administering Health and wellbeing program.
* Coordinating Visa and sponsorship information, and assisting with Seasonal Worker Program administration.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of Industrial Relations legislation.
* Previous experience in a Hotel/Resort environment (international standard preferred).
* Human Resources Qualification or at least 3 years of HR management experience.
* Proven customer service experience required.
* Intermediate level skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Office 365 SharePoint.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Current driver's license.
