About the Role
JBS Townsville is currently recruiting an experienced Production Storeperson to join the team in a full-time capacity.
Reporting to the Purchasing Officer and Plant Accountant, the Production Storeperson will play a crucial role in the successful operation of the plant.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong knowledge and skillset within stores and warehousing operations and procurement.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Stock management including receiving, inventory control and replenishment duties
Developing effective relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
Ad hoc stores related duties as required
About You
Previous experience in a similar stores or warehousing role
Ability to work professionally and effectively within a team environment as well as the ability to work unsupervised
Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Highly developed time management skills including prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Sound computer literacy skills including MS Office
Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and diagnostic skills
Previous experience in a factory or process setting advantageous
Must be physically fit and have a reliable work history
Available to work over a 5-day roster
