The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services. It provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross‐sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
About The Role
As our Platform Architect (ServiceNow), you will be the technical heart of our ServiceNow ecosystem, defining the platform's architecture, setting the standards, and ensuring every solution we build is scalable, secure, and built to last. You will shape data models and integration patterns, govern solution designs, and maintain alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks. Your work will have a direct and lasting impact on how we deliver ServiceNow solutions across the organisation. You also play a leading role in our ServiceNow Design Authority, shaping platform direction and advising stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications And Experience
* A strong grasp of ServiceNow platform architecture including data model design, integration patterns, governance, solution design across one or more product lines (ITSM, HRSD, or similar), and architecture best practice.
* Broad enterprise architecture and IT strategy knowledge, with a track record of contributing to digital transformation initiatives.
* Experience working in cross‐functional teams and delivering complex technical projects in large or multi‐stakeholder environments.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, translating technical concepts for diverse audiences and bringing people along on the journey.
* A genuine commitment to continuous learning and innovation in platform development.
* Relevant ServiceNow certifications (e.g. Certified Technical Architect, Certified Master Architect, or Certified Application Developer) and/or tertiary qualifications in a related discipline are a bonus, though not essential.
