Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Grant Writer / Proposal Developer to support our fundraising and project development efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching funding opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and helping Wendi Foundation secure resources to expand its impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential funding opportunities from donors, foundations, and institutions.
- Develop, write, and edit persuasive grant proposals and concept notes.
- Collaborate with program teams to gather information and develop project ideas.
- Prepare project budgets and logical frameworks where needed.
- Track proposal deadlines, submissions, and donor communications.
- Support reporting and documentation for ongoing grants.
Qualifications & Skills
- Solid writing and research skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to express ideas clearly and persuasively in English.
- Organized, creative, and able to meet deadlines independently.
- Basic understanding of project planning or non-profit work is an advantage.
- Passion for community development and education initiatives.
- Experience is not strictly required — only the ability and commitment to perform the work effectively.
