Business Strategist Job
Salary and benefits for this role include $163,000 per annum + 12% superannuation. This is a part-time fixed term opportunity with a 0.6 FTE – job share arrangement.
The Business Strategist will support leading a team of specialists which focus on the development and delivery of strategic projects. The position involves providing leadership, direct management, and/or support to business planning, risk management activities, internal audit, change management, and other relevant projects.
1. Manage the business planning and budget cycle in conjunction with the Executive Leadership Team.
2. Lead the delivery of the risk management framework and lead the annual risk attestation process for the business unit.
3. Develop and lead the implementation of initiatives and infrastructure solutions and systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business unit.
The ideal candidate will have an experienced background across project management, risk and governance. They will be comfortable dealing with and managing change and navigating risk combined with the ability to be flexible and agile.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant experience in annual business and corporate planning cycles.
* Demonstrated experience in leading, managing and motivating a team.
* Ability to deal with ambiguous data and achieve results.
* Demonstrated understanding of financial frameworks, including budget and review cycles.
