Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented full-time Assistant Buyer to join our team on-site at our office located on the idyllic Gold Coast in Helensvale.
Responsibilities
* Customer sales support – invoicing, backorders, facilitating credits and supplying shipment tracking.
* Taking care of our New Zealand customers directly managing their orders and providing customer support.
* Product setup and management for accurate SKU maintenance – tracking purchases and updating release dates and ETA's.
* Engage with relevant business stakeholders to co-ordinate the flow of product and information from suppliers to our retailers.
* Engaging with our suppliers for updated product information and shipment delivery updates.
* Coordinating with internal and external marketing teams for EDM and website design maintenance.
* Support with system and administration related functions.
* Assist with trend research, product development and ranging for growth – we love to try out our samples, get feedback and find new fun products to bring on board.
* Supporting the buying team with event management such as coordinating open days with suppliers and customers.
* Collaborating with internal departments to ensure a smooth supply chain process.
* Attending industry events such as Toy Fair, PAX, Supanova, TableTop Con and more. Our team travels and networks together to ensure make the most of every opportunity.
Qualifications
* Ability to work efficiently and communicate effectively within a vibrant team environment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills to manage and prioritise various tasks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong supplier and retailer relationships.
* Strong capability across Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and able to problem solve.
* Experience within the pop culture industry highly preferred.
* A passion for tabletop games, collectibles, or gaming-related products is a plus.
