About you
It’s grow time and we’re searching for an experienced professional to plant their roots with us as an Finance Manager – Compliance. In this role, you will work collaboratively with rest of Finance and cross functional teams at MRA, to be compliant in SOX framework (in the areas of financial reporting, inventory management, revenue recognition, cash & treasury & Payroll). Additionally, this role will also do business partnering with supply chain and commercial, in onboarding new distributors & special partners into MRA, in making sure they are onboarded and functioning compliantly.
As a Finance Manager – Compliance you will ...
- Manage accuracy of consignment inventory with distributors by leading quarterly / annual counts, monthly reconciliation of inventory for SOX compliance and reporting purposes.
- Manage compliance in pricing, trade initiatives, special discounts etc. for internal control purposes.
- Manage distributor fees, trade discounts, across multiple distributors and special partners.
- Assist in onboarding new distribution / business partners into MRA as need basis.
- Implement internal controls/SOX framework in ANZ, in making sure no material weaknesses being identified.
- Maintain compliance with SOX & internal controls as outlined in the SOX controls matrices for finance and supply chain function.
- Liaise with external & internal auditors in SOX related and general internal control matters.
- Take the lead in implementing SOX compliance for inventory integration with Sage and monitor and improve SOX compliance for already established finance modules in Sage.
You’re the ideal candidate if you have …
- Superior knowledge of Excel and analytical reporting tools.
- Expert knowledge in accounting software and ERP systems (preferably SAGE).
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements.
- Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with all levels of the organization.
- Strong ethical compass in all business decision-making and interpersonal relationships.
- Motivated by a rapid business tempo and a desire to build an international company with a pristine reputation.

- Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- Professional accounting designation is preferred, but not essential.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience working in audit firms, ideally someone who has worked with clients in the design and implementation of effective controls under SOX 404 compliance framework.
- Experience implementing finance transformation projects with prior ERP implementation experience preferred.
