Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to internal stakeholders, enabling operational and corporate requirements to be met. This includes management and financial accounting, capital expenditure evaluation and management, budgeting and forecasting, contract evaluation, production and project reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
* Month end processing and reporting for operational and capital expenditure.
* Providing timely and accurate cost accruals.
* Assisting in the preparation of monthly and yearly budgets and forecasts
* Mentoring cost owners in cost control, accruals and commercial responsibilities.
* Assisting the commercial team to improve commercial systems and the preparation and presentation of staff commercial training sessions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Tertiary qualifications in commerce, accounting or equivalent.
* Hold CPA or CA qualifications (or in progress).
* Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
* Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and problem solve.
* A sound understanding of information systems and processes.
* Ability to utilise Microsoft Office.

The role is located at Warkworth, approximately 20 kilometres west of Singleton in the NSW Hunter Valley.
