Customer Service Representative - Flexible Roster

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking to grow our existing team by welcoming a flexible individual who will divide their time between our two modern facilities in Abbotsford and Moorabbin.
You will be rostered depending on the needs of each facility and must be comfortable with a flexible schedule that includes Saturday, Monday and 3 other days.
The roster hours may vary between 7.30 am and 8.00 pm.
The role offers autonomy and responsibility to someone who is adaptable, enjoys a changing environment and is happy to travel to either location.
You will enjoy exposure to various aspects of the business including customer service, sales, admin support and facility maintenance with all the opportunities for professional growth that these activities offer.
At all times you will be backed up by dedicated, ongoing and experienced management support.
Previous self-storage experience will be very highly regarded, as will proven skills in sales or business development.

Lives within easy commuting distance of both locations (most likely in the Bayside and southeastern suburbs)
Has a genuine passion for providing memorable customer service and support
Takes ownership and shows initiative
Enjoys a mix of hands-on operational and customer-facing tasks
Is physically fit, enthusiastic, goal oriented and results-driven
Displays solid attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Can demonstrate proven computer and literacy skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Has strong communication skills with the ability to solve problems, resolve conflict and build lasting customer relationships

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
This is an interesting and varied full-time role that requires you to work Saturdays and Mondays plus three other days.
Drawing on your excellent customer service, admin and sales skills you will:
handle enquiries with a smile from existing and new customers, and provide excellent customer service
maintain accurate customer and inventory records in our systems
manage monthly rental collection and overdue accounts in line with procedures
ensure the facility is clean, safe and well-presented at all times
be the face of the business by delivering friendly, confident customer care
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Prior experience in a retail or customer-facing industry where customer satisfaction is paramount (prior self-storage experience highly regarded)
Fast, accurate typing
Flawless written and spoken English
A clear, confident telephone manner
Strong admin and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with (or aptitude to learn/update) our CRM software
A valid driver's licence and your own reliable car
