Project Supervisor Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to oversee our construction projects. This role will involve supervising site activities, executing carpentry tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in Carpentry (Cert III or higher) and at least 3 years' experience in commercial or remedial construction. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Project Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily site activities under the Site Manager or Foreman, executing carpentry tasks including structural repairs, timber framing, cladding, and finish work. They will also ensure accurate site records and contribute to project reporting, support onboarding and mentoring of apprentices and labourers, liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, and participate in toolbox talks, site inspections, and incident investigations.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily site activities under the Site Manager or Foreman.
* Execute carpentry tasks including structural repairs, timber framing, cladding, and finish work.
* Ensure WHS regulations and site safety protocols compliance.
* Maintain accurate site records and contribute to project reporting.
* Support onboarding and mentoring of apprentices and labourers.
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
* Participate in toolbox talks, site inspections, and incident investigations.
Skills & Experience
* Trade qualification in Carpentry (Cert III or higher).
* Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial or remedial construction preferred.
* Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications preferred.
* Familiarity with QA, Safety, and Environmental systems preferred.
* Proficiency with site management tools and mobile apps (e.g., Procore, 1Breadcrumb) preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
