Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients, providing support with daily living tasks, social interaction, and other needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality support services to clients, including personal care, domestic cleaning, and leisure activities
* Ensure client safety by maintaining a clean and tidy environment, and removing hazards as necessary
* Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their independence and well-being
* Transport clients to appointments and engage them in activities that bring joy and fulfillment
* Support clients in developing and maintaining healthy habits, such as exercise and nutrition
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
* Previous experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly in aged care or community settings
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
* Current police clearance and willingness to undergo regular checks
