We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join a growing logistics and freight forwarding business in Gregory Hills, NSW. About the Company
Our client is an established logistics and freight forwarding company specialising in:
* Ocean and air freight
* Customs clearance
* Warehousing and distribution
With continued growth, they are looking for a detail-oriented and energetic Junior Accounting professional to support their expanding operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
* Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring accurate records in CargoWise and other systems.
* Support month-end and year-end reporting processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for internal and external audits.
* Assist with payroll, billing, and other general accounting duties as required.
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting queries and support business operations.
About You
* CargoWise knowledge/experience is essential.
* Early stage of career (1-2 years of work experience or graduates are also encouraged to apply).
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Full working rights in Australia (Citizen or Permanent Resident).
* Able to commute to Gregory Hills, NSW.
