The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join the team. As a key member of the operations, you'll report directly to the Operations Director located in Castlemaine VIC. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth warehouse operations, with a primary focus on delivering customer satisfaction through meticulous handling of receiving, identifying, dispatching, and maintaining the quality of our goods.
This role will be based in the Warehouse in Derrimut, VIC.
Key Responsibilities
* Process customer orders promptly, including picking and packing
* Coordinate freight pickups and negotiate competitive rates
* Monitor inventory levels and track associated expenses
* Maintain compliance with OH&S standards for staff safety
* Conduct stocktakes and optimize storage space efficiently
* Train, guide, and evaluate warehouse personnel, overseeing their activities
What we're looking for
* Previous Warehouse Management experience
* Excellent customer service skills
* A valid forklift license and driver's licence
* A self-starter who is motivated, engaged and understands warehouse operations
* Ability to manage inventory and analyse data
* A driven and dedicated professional who can work autonomously and will provide mentorship to junior staff
