Quality Assurance Specialist
We are seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join our team on the night shift. In this role, you will be responsible for performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on plastic components to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards and customer specifications.
* Conducting visual and dimensional inspections on moulded parts using various measurement tools.
* Performing a wide range of quality tests to assess compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
* Accurately completing and maintaining quality documentation and inspection records.
* Collaborating closely with die setters and production teams to achieve the best product quality outcomes.
* Identifying and escalating quality issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspections.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with production teams and maintain records.
* Experience with metrology and measurement tools e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges.
* A science or manufacturing-based undergraduate degree e.g., Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Management.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
