Role Due to recent growth in clients and repeat business opportunities, our QLD team is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with a passion for the Built Environment to be based on the Gold Coast!
Responsibilities
Deliver built‑form and urban development projects.
Manage projects and deliver engineering investigation, assessment, design and construction management documentation across a range of sectors.
Design roads, bulk earthworks and drainage.
Manage and communicate project requirements to sub‑consultants, contractors, architects and developers.
Deliver multi‑discipline projects by utilising a variety of civil design packages.
Qualifications
7+ years of local experience working as a civil engineering consultant on built‑form projects.
RPEQ Registration.
Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
Experience preparing detailed design and documentation of roads, intersections, pavements, earthworks and stormwater drainage.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working autonomously.
Understanding of local government regulatory frameworks and statutory compliance requirements.
Strong grasp and consistent track record of using 12D is highly desirable.
Competent independent use of other civil modelling software such as DRAINS, MUSIC, Autoturn and AutoCAD.
Organise and coordinate people and work decisively.
Excellent communication skills – able to speak and write clearly, concisely and compellingly.
Creative problem‑solving skills to continually find ways to overcome challenges.
Strong team ethic to work collaboratively across multiple offices.
Handles interruptions, changes, and challenges.
