Café Kitchen Assistant/All‐Rounder

Position Overview
As a Kitchen Assistant/All‐Rounder, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the café, both in the kitchen and front of house. You'll assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and deliver excellent service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Kitchen Support:
o Assist in food preparation, including sandwiches, salads, and baked goods.
o Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized, adhering to food safety standards.
o Wash dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
o Stock and replenish kitchen supplies as needed.
* Customer Service:
o Take customer orders and process payments efficiently.
o Serve food and beverages with a friendly and skilled attitude.
o Assist in setting up and clearing tables.
* General Duties:
o Help with opening and closing duties.
o Maintain a clean and inviting café environment.
o Perform other tasks as required to support the team.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a café or hospitality workplace is preferred but not essential.
* Strong multitasking and time management skills.
* A positive attitude and a passion for great food and customer service.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a rapid‐paced environment.
* Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
* Food Safety Certificate (preferred but not required).

Pay: $24.10 - $29.00 per hour
