About the role
Sunshine Coast Physie and Dance Inc. is seeking passionate and experienced Dance Teachers to join our vibrant team. You will be responsible for teaching dance classes to students of all ages and skill levels in our North Arm, QLD studio. We are seeking teachers across multiple age sections, including Adult Jazz and Tap.
What you'll be doing
* Designing and delivering engaging and age-appropriate dance lessons
* Instructing students in various dance styles and techniques
* Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
* Collaborating with the studio team to organise and participate in performances and competitions
* Ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
* Maintaining accurate student records and attendance
What we're looking for
* Minimum 1 year experience teaching dance to students of all ages
* Strong knowledge of various dance styles and techniques, including ballet and jazz - Acro would be a bonus - Acro Teacher Course and Certification can be supplied for the right applicant. Adult Tap is also highly regarded.
* Certificate III/IV in dance/dance teaching is preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Passion for dance and a commitment to student development
* Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one
* First Aid Training - certification can be supplied for the right applicant
