About the Role
Reporting directly to the Business Owner, you'll oversee all financial operations of the agency, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strategic planning that supports business growth. You'll also manage the full HR function — from recruitment and onboarding to compliance, staff engagement, and professional development.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including payroll support, superannuation, and BAS preparation.
* Manage monthly financial reporting, budgets, and forecasting for the agency and associated entities.
* Liaise with external accountants and advisors to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
* Drive internal benchmarking, process improvements, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
* Support and oversee all employee daily operations.
* Manage recruitment and onboarding processes — advertising, interviewing, and welcoming new team members.
* Maintain and update employment contracts, HR records, and ensure Fair Work compliance.
* Support leadership with workforce planning, staff development, and performance management.
* Assist with trust account management, contract processing, settlements, and general office operations when required.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in accounting, finance, or business operations.
* Strong understanding of BAS preparation, payroll, and cash flow management.
* Knowledge of trust accounting
* Certificates in accounting or bookkeeping preferred
* Sound knowledge of Fair Work legislation and HR best practices.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency with Xero and Google Workspace.
* A professional, approachable manner and a genuine interest in helping people succeed.
