About the Position 
An exciting opportunity has opened for a 
Senior Associate or Special Counsel 
to join our client's high-calibre 
Dispute Resolution & Litigation team 
in Brisbane. You'll work closely with an experienced partner and a dynamic team of lawyers and paralegals on a nationally significant and high-profile matter involving the 
Commonwealth Government 
. 
This is a pivotal role involving direct client contact, strategic planning, and contribution to a large-scale legal effort. While your main focus will be this Commonwealth matter, the wider team engages in a broad spectrum of disputes work, such as: 
Representing government regulators and corporate clients in investigations and civil penalty actions 
Managing judicial review proceedings for government departments 
Advising on Royal Commissions, procurement disputes, and internal investigations 
Handling regulatory enforcement matters for listed and private entities 
This position offers strong potential for leadership, mentorship, and growth opportunities within a supportive national disputes practice. 
Key Requirements 
Minimum 4-6 years' PAE, ideally operating at Senior Associate or Special Counsel level 
Commercial litigation background, ideally in a respected disputes practice 
Exposure to government or regulatory disputes and investigations is highly regarded 
Excellent legal research, drafting, and communication skills 
Proven ability to manage complex workflows and lead junior lawyers 
Comfortable managing client relationships across government and corporate sectors 
Eligibility to obtain a 
Baseline Security Clearance
