Director of Transport Planning

* Work across projects in both Queensland and Western Australia;
* Develop and implement transport planning business streams;
* Provide strategic direction and leadership to staff and ensure objectives, actions and focus of the Business unit are clearly communicated to staff;
* Collaborate with senior management to determine strategy and plan for short, medium and long-term goals;
* Identify and address problems and opportunities for the Business;
* Promote a culture that encourages top performance and high morale;
About You
* Strong understanding of traffic engineering/transport planning and project management principles;
* Knowledge of quality and safety protocols and risk management strategies;
* Excellent interpersonal, influencing, mentoring and negotiation skills;
* Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams, projects and people effectively;
* Ability to develop commercially viable short and long-range business goals;
* Ability to foster a culture that supports organisational policies and procedures;
