Direct Personnel is seeking reliable, safety-focused Open Licence Crane Operators and Intermediate Riggers to join our growing team in Redhead, NSW. These roles offer consistent hours, competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and the chance to secure permanent employment.
The Roles Crane Operator
* Complete thorough daily pre-start inspections
* Operate cranes to manoeuvre concrete components around the yard
* Work closely with ground crews, interpreting hand and verbal signals
* Maintain accurate activity and maintenance logs
Intermediate Rigger
* Perform rigging duties to support crane operations
* Assist with safe movement and placement of precast concrete products
* Work collaboratively with crane operators and yard staff
* Ensure all activities follow site safety standards and procedures
What We're Looking For Crane Operator
* Open Crane Licence
* Minimum 5 years' crane operating experience, preferably in a yard environment
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Rigging Ticket (Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced)
* High commitment to safety and excellent attention to detail
* Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
Intermediate Rigger
* Intermediate Rigging Ticket or higher
* Minimum 5 years' rigging experience, ideally in a precast or heavy lifting environment
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Reliability, safety focus, and ability to support crane operations
* Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
