About the Role
This position requires a specialisation in developing high-quality teaching and learning across Prep to Year 6, while performing all core responsibilities of the Head of Department (Curriculum).
The role spans all learning areas and supports a systematic, school-wide approach to effective teaching.
The successful applicant will lead the systematic delivery of the Australian Curriculum, ensuring alignment of curriculum, assessment, and reporting, while building teacher capability and strengthening pedagogy.
Your Responsibilities
As the Head of Department (Curriculum), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Work as part of the school Leadership Team to support systematic, school-wide curriculum delivery.
* Apply sophisticated interpersonal, analytical, and strategic skills to lead change, inspire, and engage stakeholders.
* Manage the human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources of the curriculum areas or whole school program to achieve goals.
