Senior Accounting Professional
A key role exists for a meticulous and organized Senior Accounting Professional to join our finance team, working with multiple jurisdictions (Australia, US, and New Zealand). The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all core accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across entities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the full accounting cycle from daily bank reconciliations and Accounts Payable processing to weekly and monthly cashflow reporting.
* Handle comprehensive payroll duties for Australian entities.
* Ensure critical tax compliance by preparing and submitting quarterly filings including AU GST/BAS, NZ GST, PAYG – IAS, and US Sales Tax.
* Support quarterly reporting by drafting key financial results and US Margin Reports.
* Take ownership of debt collection and contribute to overall financial efficiency.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper handling all aspects of the general ledger.
* Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Unleashed) and MS Excel.
* In-depth understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements (BAS, Payroll Tax).
* Exceptional attention to detail and a high commitment to accuracy.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
