About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned software development expert to join our team in Digital NSW. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning and delivery of high-quality, reliable, reusable and maintainable ICT / Digital systems and/or networks that support the achievement of strategic objectives.
You will work with cutting-edge technologies to design, develop and optimize complex features and system components. Your responsibilities will include owning code quality, performance and scalability for assigned features, reviewing code, providing mentorship to engineers and trainees, collaborating with QA, DevOps and System Teams to ensure high-quality releases, debugging and resolving critical issues in development and production environments, driving technical improvements, automation and process optimizations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop and optimize complex features and system components.
* Owning code quality, performance and scalability for assigned features.
* Reviewing code and providing mentorship to engineers and trainees.
* Collaborating with QA, DevOps and System Teams to ensure high-quality releases.
* Debugging and resolving critical issues in development and production environments.
* Driving technical improvements, automation and process optimizations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have strong programming skills in languages such as C# .NET Core and JavaScript. You should also have experience in software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have knowledge of cloud-based platforms and technologies such as AWS and Azure.
