A$90,000.00/yr - A$160,000.00/yr
About the Role
As a Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for the coordination, technical oversight, and execution of site works related to structural steel construction. Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Coordinators, you'll ensure all installations align with engineering drawings, quality benchmarks, and safety regulations.
This is a site-based position where your ability to manage material deliveries, troubleshoot on-the-ground issues, and uphold compliance will be key to keeping the project on schedule.
* Coordinate daily site activities, steel installation, and subcontractor works.
* Monitor construction progress and elevate deviations or delays.
* Conduct quality inspections and raise non-conformance reports where required.
* Verify material deliveries and ensure steel meets project specifications.
* Promote and enforce compliance with WHS regulations and site safety practices.
* Support technical problem-solving and maintain accurate site records.
* Collaborate with internal teams and attend site/client meetings as needed.
What We're Looking For
* Degree qualified in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering (or similar).
* Experience in steel structures, industrial or commercial projects preferred.
* Strong understanding of construction drawings, QA/QC, and Australian Standards.
* Confident communicator with solid coordination and reporting skills.
* Ability to identify and resolve on-site technical or logistical challenges.
* Safety-first mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
