Critical Responsibilities
* Developing and maintaining a cohesive team: build strong relationships with your team members, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
* Kitchen operations management: oversee the planning, preparation, and delivery of meals for residents, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
* Inventory control and financial management: manage kitchen inventory and stock levels, making cost-effective purchasing decisions to minimize waste and optimize resources.
* Maintaining high food standards: adhere to strict guidelines and regulations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
Key Requirements
* Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
* Trade Certificate or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Proven experience as a head chef in high-volume environments
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Proficiency in all aspects of kitchen operations
